The proximity to Colwell Bay made wandering down to the beach as easy as pie; in fact, there were moments when it felt like walking on clouds! It was delightful to enjoy a meal at a family-run restaurant right by the shore, watching the sun melt into the horizon like a giant orange being dunked into the sea.

Parking is a bit tight.

The hotel was a chilled-out base for enjoying a beautiful area, next to the garden as well as the cafe and restaurants. Got luxury cottage with a hot tub when arrived, loved that. The location was particularly good and the free parking was on-site.
